Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SafetyDocket. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

SafetyDocket provides software to help you record workplace incidents, assess OSHA recordability, and generate recordkeeping documentation. The service is a tool to assist your compliance program; it does not replace your legal obligations or professional judgment.

2. Not legal advice

SafetyDocket's recordability guidance is based on 29 CFR Part 1904 and is provided for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice. You remain solely responsible for your recordkeeping determinations, filings, postings, and certifications. Always consult qualified counsel or a certified safety professional for your specific circumstances.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must be authorized to enter any employee data you add to the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, reverse engineer it, or use it to violate any law.

5. Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed per establishment on the cycle you select. Free trials convert to paid plans only if you choose to continue. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. You can export your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Warranties & liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafetyDocket disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any regulatory penalties arising from your recordkeeping. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
