Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2, 2026

SafetyDocket, Inc. (“SafetyDocket,” “we,” “us”) provides OSHA incident recordkeeping and workplace-safety documentation software. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We treat compliance data as sensitive because it is.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, work email, company, and password when you create an account.
  • Recordkeeping data — the incident, injury, and illness records you enter, including establishment details and OSHA 300/301/300A information.
  • Usage data — log files, device and browser information, and interactions with the product, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
  • Communications — messages you send us through forms, email, or support.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the recordkeeping platform.
  • To generate the OSHA forms, summaries, and reminders you request.
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
  • To communicate service updates and, where permitted, relevant product information.

Employee injury records

Injury and illness records may contain personal information about your employees. You are the controller of that data; SafetyDocket processes it on your behalf under your instructions. We support OSHA privacy-concern case handling, including withholding employee names from the posted 300 where required.

How we share information

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, hosting and image generation), under contracts that require appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.

Data retention & security

Recordkeeping data is retained for the OSHA five-year period and remains exportable to you at any time. We use encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

Your choices

  • Access, correct, or export your data from within the product or by contacting us.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
